Kelanawisata.id, Banjarnegara – The Orijingan Vespa Community once again made its presence known through an event titled the “Orijingan Central Java-Yogyakarta Chapter Banjarnegara Gathering,” held over two days, Saturday–Sunday (April 11–12, 2026). This event served as a gathering for Vespa enthusiasts from various regions while also providing social, environmental, and economic benefits for publics.
Approximately 200 Vespa enthusiasts from various cities, including Jakarta, Bogor, Yogyakarta, Cirebon, and Brebes, participated at the event, which was centered in the Kampung Kelapa Sawit area, D’Kuwondogiri, Blambangan Tourism Village, Banjarnegara.
The event chair, Bahtiar—or Mr. BM, as he is commonly known—explained that the choice of Blambangan Tourism Village as the venue was deliberate. He noted that the location’s concept aligns perfectly with the values of the Orijingan community.
“We chose this place because it aligns with the concept of our event, which is environmental conservation, social engagement, entertainment, and fostering camaraderie. Additionally, the atmosphere here is still pristine and conducive to building camaraderie among participants,” he said.
A variety of positive activities enlivened this gathering, ranging from tree planting, community service at an orphanage, blood donation, SAR training, to the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
Not only that, the event was also enlivened by entertainment featuring several performers, including national MC Simon Vesto and artist Denny Frust from Jakarta, as well as MC Canti from Surakarta.
Kuat Herry, manager of D’Kuwondogiri in the Blambangan Tourism Village, expressed his appreciation for the event. He noted that community activities like this are highly anticipated, especially amid the challenge of declining tourist visits to the village.
“We would like to thank the Vespa Orijingan community for choosing Kuwondogiri as the venue for their gathering. This event is very beneficial because it not only provides entertainment but also promotes social and environmental activities. We hope this kind of synergy continues so that the tourism village can keep growing and the community’s MSMEs can keep moving forward,” he said.
He also added that the all-inclusive package concept offered at Kuwondogiri serves as a unique draw for various communities to hold similar events. “Snapper, mackerel—if you want the full package, come to Kuwondogiri,” he said in his characteristic style.
After participating in a series of activities in Blambangan Tourism Village, the participants are also scheduled to visit several other tourist destinations in Banjarnegara Regency. This presents a significant opportunity to introduce village-based tourism potential to visitors from outside the region.
One of the event’s key figures and Master of Ceremony, Simon Vesto, shared his positive impressions of Banjarnegara’s tourism potential. He noted that the village-based tourist destinations in this area boast extraordinary natural beauty and are supported by the warmth of the local community.
“It turns out there are many tourist attractions in Banjarnegara—they’re all beautiful, and the people are very friendly. This is perfectly in line with the spirit of ‘One Vespa, a Million Brothers.’ Let’s work together to revitalize the economy of our tourist villages through community solidarity,” he said.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that collaboration between the community and tourism village managers can be further strengthened to drive local economic growth and expand the promotion of Banjarnegara’s tourism at the national level.***
