He brought it home, cooked it, and ate it with his wife. Not long after, they felt an intense itch on their skin, and their bodies gradually turned scaly. They rolled over repeatedly in the Sarangan valley until a large depression was formed. Eventually, the depression turned into a lake after a natural spring emerged within it.
There are several attractions at Telaga Sarangan. Water-based activities dominate and are popular among visitors. Available options include speedboats, tourist boats, and paddle boats, with a fee of around Rp60,000. Visitors can explore the lake using either speedboats or leisure boats.
